Bolinas Beach

grey blanket of isolation
diffused sunlight casts no shadow
God whispers through a break in the sky
this rip of fabric exposes
celestial spectral hues
mother of pearl mirror
reflects the universe
a chilling wash of wave
stretches and pulls inward infinitely
wetted grains of sand: the stars
and the sea foam nebulous
sweet siren melodies reverberate
within bordering hills
obscured earth spirits seep
and transcend the texture of picturesque landscape
I inhale its wind and pulsate
